It always makes me feel like the habit is quite important in our daily life. I mean, some habits we get when we are at younger age, some habits that we've created and kinda wanna develop by ourselves when we grow up. Well, I mean, habits play an important role in our daily life, which affect how we feel about ourselves in some ways, and habits also determine if we can achieve our goals in a long term. haha some profound stuff here, I know.🤍
Have you ever thought about how many days can you build a habit for yourself? According to my own experience, I'd say 18 days haha, a bit less than a month, sounds doable right haha. Here I give one of my examples of myself: I've built a habit of 'eat only when I feel hungry.' Sound funny right haha, and personally I'd think this's kinda a weird habit, cos it's supposed to be a normal thing right? we eat when we feel hungry. tbh this habit kinda like a family thing, I'd not say this like a cultural thing. I remember my family liked to eat 3 meals a day which they call that's a healthy lifestyle, obviously those 3 meals are breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well, you know, I was kinda affected by that more or less when I was a child, even sometimes I didn't feel that I wanna eat anything. However, I had to, you know. It was pretty mad tbh.
Well, the good thing is, I've decided to live on my own for almost 11 years, I decided to develop my own habits. One of the habits is 'I eat when I feel hungry.' I mean, it's all about the feelings. I feel like it's kinda respect my body, and it makes me feel like I listen to my body, you know. Cos personally I think I do not need that much food every day, and my body needs time to digest the food and convert the food to energy. I've been eating mostly 1 meal per day for quite a while. And thb I feel a lot happier, I feel like I got a healthier mind and body.
Stay curious, stay positive, take care, enjoy yourself.🤍
cheers
